Q. Is there any membership requirements or fees?

No! We feel our activity fee is enough, and the university will cover all the transportation!

Q. Can anyone join, even if I haven't been skiing or snowboarding before?

OF COURSE! The club is open to ALL students, faculty, staff, and NO experience is needed.

Q. What do I have to do to become a member?

 All you have to do is click on the club icon on the menu bar and fill out the contact form. Now you are officially apart of the SRU ski/snowboard club!


Q. How much does a trip normally cost?

 Lift tickets are normally $30- 45. Rentals if needed are approx $15 extra! All lift tickets are DISCOUNTED!!

Q. Can I bring a friend, even if they do not attend SRU?

As we normally only allow SRU students, you may bring a friend if there are seats open on the bus. There will be a fee of $10 to help cover the transportation cost.

Q. How many people can go on a trip? 

The bus seats 56 passengers. If we need additional seating, the second bus must be at least half full.

Q. What kind of bus does the club use?

We use Campbell's Motor Coaches.They give you a nice relaxing ride especially after a long day on the slopes!

Q. How many trips does the club usually take?

 As all trips are weather dependent, we like to go every weekend during the winter season.

Q. What resorts? And how long are we there for?

 We have gone to 7 Springs, Peak N Peak, and Holiday Valley! We are planning more trips for the 09-10 season, and have a trip in the works to UTAH during Spring Break! We normally ski and ride for about 8 hours.

Q. When is the money due for each trip?

The money is normally due every TUESDAY night for a saturday, and sunday trip.
